Power. Resilience. Sovereignty. Generative Coaching & Integrative Learning Level 2*
LIVE September 20th-22nd , 2023 Ann Arbor, Michigan
*This course is worth 24 continuing education credits through the International Coaching Federation
Building on the capacities you've developed from level 1
In the 14th century, the word “sovereign” referred to a small amount of medicine that was potent enough to create a dramatic change. A remedy was “sovereign” if a small amount caused a transformation. Well, as you already know, that’s what this work is too - it is the work of sovereignty. It is a potent remedy, that, when taken even in small amounts, leads to fundamental change.
It’s time to build on the foundation we've already created in Level 1.
You Know How Powerful This Work Can Be!
Helping others to make a difference.
These tools and methods help people and organizations discover the vast reservoir of purpose, strength and intelligence they already possess but exists outside of their awareness. This is the time we take it to the next level

Liliana Mendoza
Educator, Leader and Researcher
Our student leaders and peer mentors go through this training each year...it truly transforms their lives and our entire program. They bring this knowledge back home to their families and communities, inspiring change. The impact is huge
Why now?
In this time of global upheaval, it is easy for the systematic forces of privilege and oppression to reach into our daily lives, robbing us of our sense of safety, dignity, connection and clarity. It is easy for us to lose contact with our internal compass - that part of us that knows where to go, what to do next and how to be in beloved community. More than ever, we need to stay in conscious contact with our sources of strength, purpose and resilience. We need to develop deeper connections with others. Since the trauma of oppression is social in nature, then we must heal it with one another.
What We Will Do
During Level One training, I introduced you to the vast hidden resources we naturally possess but exist well outside of our awareness. We worked primarily with experiences from the past. In this training, we will continue to hone your generative skills by focusing more on how you can use them to work with challenges in real-time and “feed” the potent resources into the future.
Course Outline
1
Module 1: Shifting Negativity Into Resilience
While I introduced this concept in level 1, we will go into much more depth now. You'll learn how to work with your own and others’ negativity to reverse its impact in the moment – finding stuck energy inherent within feelings of worry, resistance, anxiety, confusion etc. and then “flipping” that energy/intelligence into strength and generative power
2
Module 2: Unlocking Emergence, Want and Need
There’s a huge difference between what we want, what we need, and what's emerging - each of these contain different hidden resources that are essential to creating change. Not knowing the difference often leads to a lack of energy and deep confusion. If we're too focused on what we want and need, we often miss the opportunities that come to us from emergence - the unplanned and unexptected life experiences that lead us to our generative power. This module will focus on discerning these three conditions and how we harness them to transform.
Module 3: Using Generative Knowledge to Heal Past Trauma
During traumatic and/or painful life experiences, we often "lose" parts of ourselves, which means, our strengths, focus, capacities and purpose get drained from us. I’ll show you how to identify, retrieve and integrate those lost parts from a foundation of wholeness and generativity.

Module 4: Uncovering and "Flipping" the Energy of Internalized Oppression
The impact of internalized oppression is usually quite subtle and often hidden. It can present as physical pain, a loss energy, an inability to focus and the loss of hopes, dreams, goals and or imagination. I will teach you a series of tools for finding hidden sources of internalized oppression and then "flipping" the energy into incredible resources.
5
Module 5: Custom Session Based on Individual Needs
These methods aren't just to use with individuals, they can also be used to transform our relationships, families, workplaces and communities as well. For this session, I'll do individual interviews with each participant and help create a generative "project" you can do with others. The results are always astounding and life-changing.
These are skills for leaders and change agents
A change agent is someone who facilitates positive change. In this workshop, you will learn the essential capacities for being an effective coach and leader. More specifically, you will learn how to:
> Discover the embodied realm of intelligence that is essential to wholeness and regeneration and yet hidden from view;
> Learn how to retrieve and share your own and others’ unique hidden sources of purposefulness, strength, and resiliency;
> Identify patterns of successful change/regeneration hidden within your seemingly disconnected experiences;
> Learn how to identify the SPECIFIC internal and external conditions that lead yourself and others to thrive and succeed;
> Practice giving and receiving vital feedback to help others become their highest and best self; and,
> Ask questions in ways that will help you facilitate wholeness and regeneration in others.
